we are currently seeking a Technical Payment Product Manager – Temporary Position (Maternity leave replacement) to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company.

Payment Solutions is a professional Product group responsible for all Nayax’s Payment Integrations and Payment related Products. The department handles technical aspects of Design, Product & Project Management, Certification and Deployment/Delivery processes. The Department’s position is a Critical focal point with R&D, Customer Success, Customer Support, Finance, Sales, Marketing and more. It is also in constant communication with banks, Fintech companies, credit card clearing / acquiring companies and alternative payment methods / digital wallet providers. We are looking for a hands-on Technical Product Manager to take the lead of key Integration Projects and new frontier Payment products.

The Technical Payment Product Manager will report directly to the Payment Platforms Product Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal/external customers, Sales, and Business Development teams to define business requirements and implementation scope.
  • Manage, prioritize, and maintain tasks, backlogs, and product roadmaps.
  • Analyze and design new payment integrations and products, preparing detailed PRDs and design documents.
  • Work closely with R&D and QA in Agile/Scrum processes, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate and support live pilots and product deployments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Lead knowledge transfer to ensure business units’ operational independence.
  • Use data and BI tools to measure product/project success and conduct retrospectives.

 

Requirements

  • 3–5 years experience as a Product Manager – mandatory
  • Payments knowledge and experience – mandatory
  • BSc in Industrial Engineering & Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering – an advantage
  • Experience writing technical design documents (APIs, integrations, ERD, sequence diagrams, etc.) – will be tested
  • Strong understanding of APIs (REST, Swagger/YAML) – will be tested
  • Proficiency in SQL – will be tested
  • Excellent English (verbal and written) – will be tested
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Independent learner, goal-oriented, motivated to take ownership

Nice to have:

  • Experience measuring and optimizing platform products by defining, monitoring, and refining KPIs, and driving continuous optimization based on data insights.
  • Familiarity with microservices and SaaS architectures
  • Experience with monitoring techniques and tools
